Pledge Manager Update

Hello backers!   Well, it's September 30th today and we will be locking orders, processing credit cards,  and shutting down the pre-order store tonight or early tomorrow AM at some point.     We thank all of you who have taken the time to complete your surveys.    For those of you who haven't yet, we ask that you do so today if possible.   If you are an "add-ons" only backer and have decided not to order anything then no action is required on your part.   We will cancel your pledge tomorrow in Backerkit so that you stop receiving email reminders to complete your survey.    

Production has started on the figures already and we anticipate an on time delivery at this point.  

We will continue to provide updates through the production process.

Pledge Manager Live - Please Read!

Ok everyone, we've enabled our pledge manager for the campaign.   It is here where you will make your selections, select any add-ons that you want, provide your shipping address and pay for shipping.  

Smoke Test   

Please note that backerkit requires us to do what is called a "Smoke Test."  Essentially this means that a random 5% or so of backers in each pledge level will be invited to the Pledge Manager initially.    This is just to make sure there are no issues with the setup, something of a pilot test if that makes sense.   Once about 50% or so of those invited to the smoke test complete their surveys without any issues, then all remaining backers will be invited.    So the smoke test has been sent out already and don't worry if you didn't get your invite, you will get it within about 48 hours.     If you haven't received your invitation within 48 hours, please let us know, but be sure to check your junk mail folder and also be sure that you are checking the correct email account (the one you use for Kickstarter!).     

Shipping

Shipping costs are primarily tied to pledge levels because it's just easier that way.   So if you were a $3 add-on only backer and you decide you don't want anything, then you are basically done and don't need to take any action.    However, the shipping cost will still show up as if you did order something.   If you don't, then just ignore it and take no further action.  We have done our best to configure the shipping correctly, but if for some reason you think you have come across an anomaly, just let us know.   Really though, there shouldn't be any issues as it's pretty basic and all rewards are shipping from our US Warehouse per the Kickstarter shipping details. 

Add-Ons

I know some of you will be disappointed, however, we have determined not to make available the stretch goal figures that were not unlocked in the campaign.  Sorry!   This decision was made because those figures are not yet modeled and we want to be sure that we complete fulfillment on time by the end of November.    We did however make a special add-on for the fully painted FL7507P The Girl with the Dragon Skull.     As an exclusive off ONLY to Kickstarter Backers, we are offering this limited edition, beautifully hand painted figure at 30% off it's retail price.   It is not discounted on our website or in the pre-order store, it is an exclusive offer to only those who backed the Kickstarter. 

Pre-Order Store

For those of you who missed the KS, a pre-order store has been enabled.   This will allow you to participate to get the figures almost like an add-ons only backer.   This pre-order store will be open until September 30th at which point it will close.   Please note that if you backed the KS, do NOT use the pre-order store!  If you backed, you should be using the Pledge Manager only.

Survey Completion Date

To help us meet our production deadlines, we are requesting that all backers complete their surveys by September 30th.    Earlier is better.   ;-)  Until the surveys are complete, we have no way of knowing what to produce, so the earlier the surveys are done the earlier rewards will be sent out. 

That's about it.  Once the smoke test is complete, we will post another update announcing that the remaining surveys have been sent.   Please do not inquire about not receiving the email invitation until this update is posted!

As funding has now closed, we just wanted to take moment and to thank you all for your support for bringing the project to life!   Now the real work begins, producing the kits and getting them sent out to you.    

Here is a brief run down of what will follow next with a rough timeline:

Pledge Manager

The pledge manager will be turned on as soon as Kickstarter finishes it's internal process to capture payments.  This typically takes about two weeks, so we anticipate the pledge manager going live around Tuesday September 10th.    Per the KS details,  we'd like to have the pledge manager open for a period of only about 2 weeks, so we ask you all to make your selections as early in the project as possible so that we can begin production and start getting rewards out as quickly as possible.   Until you guys fill out your surveys, we don't know what to produce, so the earlier we can collect that information the earlier the rewards will ship.   

Pre-Order Store

Rather than accepting late pledges as we did with our 28mm KS, we will most likely enable a pre-order store as part of our pledge manager.   This is really only for those who did NOT back in the Kickstarter and will be open during the period which the pledge manager is open.    

Fulfillment

We will work with a phased fulfillment approach as we produce the figures.   We hope to have all rewards sent by the end of November.   It's an aggressive timeline, but one that we are confident we can reach. 

Stretch Goal Figures

We will discuss internally over the next few days if we will make the locked stretch goal concepts available as part of the Pledge Manager.    It is highly likely that these figures will be produced as part of the series, the only issue is if we want to bundle them with this KS.  So even if we don't add them to the Pledge Manager, they will be produced and available for retail purchase at some point.

Stretch Goal #1 Unlocked - Kickstarter Exclusive Vampire King!

The update title says it all, Stretch Goal #1 FL7514 The Vampire King has now been unlocked and is available as a $35 add-on.   For those interested, you can add this figure by increasing your pledge amount by the cost of the set or by simply adding it during the pledge manager after funding where it will now be available as an add-on.    Note that this figure is a Kickstarter Exclusive and is only available by backing this kickstarter, it will never go to retail sale.  

This is a great figure in it's own right, but also complements very well set FL7513 The Future Prince of Darkness in multi-figure displays.
